About Me

Facilitating Windsor Leadership session on AI and Leadership

“Mitzi inspires me, over and over again. She understands what it takes to transform a situation, a team, an organisation into the finest version of itself.” Nancy Kline, President, Time to Think

I work with senior teams, boards and organisations to improve the quality of thinking in their meetings, decisions and leadership.

How I came to this work

My background is a little unusual. I began as a lawyer, working on environmental justice and sustainability, before moving into organisational psychology and leadership development. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked across the public and private sectors, often in high-pressure environments where the quality of thinking really matters.

Where I focus
Much of my work is with organisations navigating complexity — where decisions carry weight, time is limited, and the usual ways of working no longer quite hold.

I’m a faculty member of Nancy Kline’s Time to Think, and my work is grounded in the Thinking Environment — a practical approach that helps people think more clearly, independently and collaboratively. I draw on systems thinking and organisational psychology alongside this work.

Experience

’ve held senior roles including Non-Executive Director in the NHS and Head of Practice Management at the Law Society. I am a facilitator with Windsor Leadership and a faculty member of the NHS Leadership Academy, and have previously served as an Ambassador for the International Integrated Reporting Council, reflecting a longstanding interest in how organisations create and communicate value.

Alongside my client work, I founded Fulcrum — a network for leaders across sectors, grounded in wisdom, compassion and courage
